Assistant Chief Joe Manchester and Chief Malcolm Cunningham of Hardin Fire Protection District participated in Career Day at Hardin Central High School. Representatives from many industries talked to High School students about different careers. Hardin Fire Protection District was invited by Richmond Fire to participate in an SCBA familiarization session.
Hardin Fire Protection District trained on their new battery powered vehicle extrication tool. The combination cutter-spreader was obtained by the department utilizing grant funds from Norfolk Southern Railroad.
