F.F.A.M.

Convention

ChairpersonJosh Loyd
Members — Larry Jones, Keith Smith

This committee shall act as liaison between the Board and whoever is sponsoring the annual convention. The committee shall have a maximum of three members.

The F.F.A.M. membership meets annually, when possible, each year during the month(s) of April or May to form one of the largest fire related conventions in Missouri. The F.F.A.M.’s convention is an excellent opportunity to meet fire personnel from all over the great State of Missouri, and provides ample opportunity to socialize and exchange ideas of how to deal with the challenges that face the fire service of today. The convention also offers an opportunity to meet vendors and view a wide variety of fire service equipment and see some of the new products recently developed.

The convention has something for everyone!  Activities include a mixer, fire muster contest, static vendor displays, training opportunities, banquet, dance and business meeting.  The convention gives attendees a chance to relax and converse with other firefighters and their families from across the State.

Each year, the convention site moves to different locations throughout the state. Any department interested in information on hosting the convention can contact the Convention Committee.
