The Willard Fire Protection District is proud to announce that Kevin Samsel has been appointed as our new Fire Chief. Chief Samsel has been with the district since 2009 when he started his career as a Volunteer Firefighter. He was one of the initial hires in 2013 when the district became a paid combination department. Chief Samsel’s credentials include certifications in Fire Inspection, Fire Investigation, Fire Instructor II, and he is a three-time recipient of the district’s Firefighter of the Year award. Chief Samsel holds an AAS in Fire Science and a BS in Fire Administration. Please congratulate Kevin on his appointment.
