Ceremony and Celebration
On February 22, 2025, the Cedar Hill Fire Protection District celebrated its 75th Anniversary in conjunction with our annual awards dinner. The Cedar Hill Community Fire Association was established in 1950 with 24 volunteer members and a 1950 Ford Central Firetruck. Over the past 75 years, our District has grown significantly and is now staffed with 64 personnel, including 24 full-time employees, 14 part-time firefighters, 8 volunteer firefighters, 6 junior firefighters, 10 auxiliary members, and 2 chaplains.
We operate out of three stations, providing 24/7 service to our community. Our fleet includes three pumpers, one pumper-tanker, two tankers, three brush trucks, two staff vehicles, one utility truck, and two boats. We are proud to still have the original 1950 Ford Central Firetruck, which is featured in the accompanying photographs.
