The April 6, 2025 FFAM Auxiliary meeting was called to order by President Sheri Berendzen, Cole Co FPD at 9:00 am. In attendance were: Joni Fields, Paris Rural FPD; Rosanna Jorgenson, South Holt FD; Lachrissa Smith, North Central Carroll FPD; Rachell Hartman, Little Dixie FPD; Theresa Coc, Wentzville FPD; Bailey Burd, Johnson County Fire; Carissa Thompson, Holts Summit FPD and Diane Wynne, Galt.
Minutes
The minutes of the February 2, 2025 meeting held at the MO State Fair Fire Station were read. Theresa Cox made a motion seconded by Carissa Thompston to approve the minutes. The motion carried

Membership
Membership has not changed. 13 honorary members and 109 paid members. Carissa will have updated numbers and list at convention.

Auxiliary of the Year
There have been no nominations for a few years. Joni is working on a new form for the magazine and the website.
Convention
Convention will be May 2-4, 2025 in Branson. We will have a silent auction. Members should begin collecting items and bring them to convention. If anyone wants to donate, they may reach out to a member or bring it to convention.
Old Business
Officer
Kim resigned as PIO officer. The executive committee will appoint a replacement
“Loot” bags will be put together after the meeting today for convention.
New Business
Membership Cards
Carissa Thompson is working on membership cards to pass out to members.
Website will be updated at convention with photos and all pertinent information.
Tim Bean, Missouri State Fire Marshall presented to the group about legislation and passed out a publication with all of the Missouri State Officials in it. He also shared thoughts regarding the Women’s Symposium coming up later this month as well as the number of line of duty deaths we have had in Missouri this year.
Executive Committee
Joni Fields made a motion seconded by Carissa Thompson to appoint Bailey Burd for PIO for the remainder of the current term. The motion carried.
Adjourn
A motion was made by Rosanna Jorgenson and seconded by Diane Wynne to adjourn the meeting at 10:27 am. The motion carried.
