Can you believe how time has flown by? We are in the new year 2023 and in no time the Missouri State Fair will be in service. When I wrote this I looked into how many days until the 2023 Missouri State Fair…238 days 18 hours and 30 mins for all that are counting.
The Missouri Stated Fair Volunteer Fire Department has an application process to be a member of the department. Each member must be a paid FFAM member of the sponsoring department or district. Some departments do not pay for the membership, so make sure to check with your home department or contact the FFAM Secretary to join as an Associate Member.
I want to say thank you to Brooke Herrin for taking over the online items and tracking of applications so when you see her, please say thank you. The application process should be up and running on January 1, 2023, on the FFAM website under State Fair Committee. This year will be a great year, so I hope to see all the seasoned members with many new faces. Without the new faces, we will not function. To all the officers and support staff watch out for upcoming in-person meetings.
