Skyline Volunteer Fire Department held an open house for their new station. The station was built using grant funds from the Missouri Department of Economic Development’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and with the help of the South Central Ozark Council of Governments (SCOCOG). This new station replaces the old one originally built in 1983, which the fire department had outgrown. They have needed a new station for a long time. The new facility can house five apparatus and features a classroom office area and restrooms. The old station didn’t have water or plumbing. This new station will serve the Skyline community for many years. Congratulations on the new facility.
