The Western Taney County Fire District has placed a new brush truck in service. Several key items had to be addressed while designing this truck. It uses a standard four-door cab truck with a short bed. Has enough space to carry ALS medical gear inside a compartment. Is a capable brush truck with a 200-gallon tank, class A foam, and hand tools. It has low weight and the maintenance is “simple,” by having a hydraulic driven pump. It has a capable winch, not just for show. It is designed in such a way that it can be built by our shop. We now have Brush 79, a 2021 Ford F350 four-door, four wheel drive with a short bed, 120 GPM Harrison Hydra-Gen hydraulic driven pump, with 200 gallons of capacity.
