Today marks a major milestone for our district. After 30 years of being an all volunteer fire district, We now have career firefighters on duty 24/7. Thanks to you, our tax payers and our board of directors. What was once a vision is now reality. Fire Station 1 is our district headquarters in Branson West and has been remodeled with living quarters. Although you can not tell from the outside. There was a huge renovation. The addition has accommodations for four firefighters with a kitchen, dayroom, office, and bathroom. Crews rotate on three twenty-four hour shifts.
Chief Wolven remarked, “Our call volume continues to increase, This gives the citizens and visitors to our area a faster response time to calls for service.” We look forward to the future of our district, We thank all of you for your continued support.
