The Museum Project – March 2016

A special thanks to all who came by to see us at the recent Winter Fire School. Those who came helped the fund raising by purchasing $789 worth of raffle tickets for the Henry “Firefighters” edition rifle. In addition, another $111 was collected in sales and donations. To top it off, I just received word from Texas Roadhouse that we made $511 on their dining for donations promotion. They said this was the largest amount ever raised at that restaurant. I know a lot of you did not stay because of the long wait. We are already approved for next year. I may try to go to other restaurants to see if they will do the same thing for us. Let me know the restaurants you might like me to contact at ffammuseum@gmail.com.

Time is growing short to purchase your flag(s) for the “Fire Fighters’ Field of Flags” at the memorial. I need your orders by May 3, so that we can get them ordered and placed in time for the memorial service. Flags are $35 if you want to leave it there and $40 if you want it mailed to you. An order form is included in this edition of the newsletter.

By the way, feel free to copy the order form and take it to local businesses in and around your community.

Just in case you did not know, you can make a donation or have a fund raiser to benefit the museum effort at any time. Just contact me and I will assist you. We will soon begin a major “re-start” to try and raise needed funds.
